Fittaish initiative

Fittaish is a queer initiative launched online in early 2022. The initiative includes queer and allies around the world with same goal, working remotely and aiming primarily to empower the Arabic speaking LGBTQA+ community, by giving them a safe space to express their experiences, feelings and stories, and allowing them to engage in discussions and reflections related to their sexual and gender identities

Role: Art Director, Graphic Designer.

Outputs: Brand manual, brand assets and SoMe contents.

THE PROJECT:

I collaborated with Fittaish Initiative initially to create the artwork for the podcast episodes, one idea turned into another and I ended up with creating the visual identity and the brand manual for Fittaish.

THE experience:

Seeing an initiative and a podcast like Fittaish, warmed my heart. It was a platform where Arab queers get to tell their stories, and I wanted to contribute to it and sign in on the adventure, and that is exactly what I did!

THE outcome:

I worked with the podcast creator to understand Fittaish's vision, their mission and what were they trying to achieve. Soon after, I started to build up the brand identity that I saw fitting Fittiash. The results were a colourful, minimal and organic design that aligned with the change that Fittaish is trying to create.
