OUR LEGO AGENCY (OLA):

An in-house agency and part of the LEGO Group, located in Billund, the middle of Jylland island in Denmark, in addition to multiple hubs around the world.

OLA is focused to embraceing the LEGO brand values while celebrating play and use it as a main source of inspiration when bringing creative work to life.

My role: Art Director.

THE EXPERIENCE:

As a believer in change, I know that celebrating children’s imagination is an essential way to empower them, and I can’t imagine a better place to do so than LEGO. Because of that, joining the LEGO Group and OLA has been a dream in the making for quite some time.

Diving right into the LEGO experience was an awesome blend of creativity, strategy, and innovation. As a part of the Concept and Creative team, I collaborate daily with talented creatives, designers, artists, and marketing strategists to captivate and bring the magic of LEGO sets to life through integrated campaigns. These campaigns tell unique stories that push the boundaries of imagination and place the power of play at center stage.

Outcome: 

As part of the OLA team, I get to work with different IPs, like LEGO Super Mario, Sonic, and Minecraft. It is such a beautiful opportunity to celebrate such beloved names and bring relatable stories to life.

All of this happens while I dive deeper into developing and shaping my creative skills, learning about the process and strategy behind integrated campaigns, and streamlining the creative thinking and ideation process.

My experience with LEGO is an ongoing proof of the power of creativity and a celebration of authentic storytelling. It is a presentation of the hard work and trust between the different talents involved, which has resulted in awesome deliverables loved by fans of the brand and IPs.
