The project:

This is a video essay I created as a graduation project from Hyper Island. It involves Research, Script writing, Video editing and Storytelling.

the experience:

In 2018, I had a new-found love for video essays. They were a great way to explain and educate about an idea using two of my favourite methods: storytelling and visual cues. It is only natural that I would want to create my own essay, and I chose Nonlinear storytelling as a subject. a subject that has always fascinated me, and I thought I might as well make a project on it, while learning about the topic.

Outcome:

I cracked the code of creating such essays, the process and joy behind them. and learning about creative writing and editing. The video is available on youtube now with 12,000 plus views, and something tells me I should revisit these essays again!
